Visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum to see the family fun and learning opportunities we have in store for your family.
All-Star Gala
Join the excitement and entertainment as the Hall of Fame hosts the annual All-Star Game Gala. The night includes games, prizes, food, entertainment, and, of course, live coverage of the All-Star Game on the big screen in the Grandstand Theater.
Boy Scout and Girl Scout Discovery Tours
Both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can earn patches when they come to the Hall of Fame by completing a special Scavenger Hunt designed to guide scouts through our museum with a special focus on the virtues and character traits exemplified by good scouts.
Cabin Fever Film Series
Collaborating with the Fenimore Art Museum and the Glimmerglass Festival, we offer free movies on Friday nights during the months of January and February. Each year the movies that screen in the Hall's Grandstand Theater are chosen with family friendliness in mind.
Discovery Tour
Kids and families can complete our Discovery Tour – a special scavenger hunt designed to help guide younger visitors through our museum. Kids can hand in their completed tour at the museum's bookstore to earn a free gift.
Extra Innings Overnight
Be one of the lucky few to spend a night with baseball's legends! Children ages 7-12 and their parents can sleep in the Hall of Fame Gallery among the plaques honoring Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson and the rest of baseball's greats. The evening includes all-access to the museum's public areas after-hours, special hands-on programs throughout the museum, and a late-night snack and a movie in the Bullpen Theater. For more information, click here.
Key Bank Summer Programming Series
All summer long you can enjoy engaging programs each and every day at the Hall of Fame through the Key Bank Summer Programming Series. Discover the science of hitting a baseball, visit with a ballpark vendor to learn about the business of the ballpark, or get a close-up view of baseball's past with Artifact Spotlight programs. These daily experiences are included with the cost of museum admission.
World Series Gala
Enjoy the excitement of the Fall Classic on the big screen at the Hall of Fame in one of our favorite annual family events. The evening is sure to entertain with refreshments, trivia, raffles, prizes and live coverage of the World Series!
Youth Baseball Week
Looking for a fun spot to take the family during spring break? Why not try the Hall of Fame? Each year during school spring break the museum offers interactive programs designed for families every day. Youth Baseball Week in 2012 will be April 9 through 13.

This Day in Baseball History
On February 4, 1991, the Hall of Fame’s Board of Directors votes unanimously to make all players on baseball’s permanently banned list ineligible for Hall of Fame consideration. The decision makes Pete Rose ineligible for the Hall’s ballot as long as he remains suspended.
