Join us in Cooperstown for a one-of-a-kind field trip experience. The Baseball Hall of Fame offers a variety of programs in all of the major subject areas including Math, Science, Social Studies, the Arts and Character Education. Visiting students have the opportunity to tour the Museum and participate in a variety of hands-on, artifact-based programs.
All of our field trips are aligned with Common Core State Standards.
Field Trip Planning Packet
Great field trips begin with great planning. Book A Field Trip
Once you have reviewed the planning packet and decided on the best options for your group, fill out our field trip request form and submit it to the Baseball Hall of Fame's education department.
Once you have submitted your request, a representative of the Education Department will get in touch with you to confirm the date and time of your field trip.
Your visit is not guaranteed until you have received a confirmation letter from us. If you do not receive one within 7-10 days, please call 607-547-0347.
Field trips to the Baseball Hall of Fame can help you meet many of your curriculum objectives! We have created pre and post-vist lesson plans and activities that help students engage in a variety of topics through baseball. Use these Common Core aligned lessons to prepare students for their upcoming visit, or use these unique free resources even if you are unable to visit Cooperstown!
Cooperstown Classroom & Diamond Discovery Days
Diamond Discovery Days will return in Spring 2014!
The beautiful Village of Cooperstown is an ideal place to spend the day with your students! Standards-based educational experiences at The Farmers' Museum, the Fenimore Art Museum, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will make for a full day of hands-on learning and activities. Each museum will feature staffed activity stations, allowing students and chaperones to explore at their own pace.
A special "Cooperstown Classroom" package is offered for these select dates. It includes admission to all three museums for just $12 per student. We offer complimentary admission to teachers and adult chaperones at a 1:10 adult-to-student ratio. Call for details.

Upcoming Home School Discovery Days
Home School Discovery Days will return in 2014!
Offered in cooperation with the Fenimore Art Museum and the Farmers' Museum, Homeschool Discovery Day is a great chance for students to participate in fun programs, explore Cooperstown's museums, and meet other homeschoolers.
Advance registration is required at each museum. At the Hall of Fame, students are $6 each, 1 adult per each family is admitted free. Additional adults will be $19.50. Please call 607-547-0313 for more details.
