Saturday, July 1, 2017 - 10:30am
Join us throughout the day for women in baseball themed programming celebrating the women who have played baseball at all levels. Women and girls have always loved and played the game and have worked hard to fulfill their baseball dreams. Explore the history of women and girls in baseball to determine how their achievements led to greater opportunities for all.
In conjunction with The Clark Sports Center, with additional support from The Cooperstown Winter Carnival, The Village of Cooperstown, and The Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce have joined together to create a fun, free, family event on Doubleday Field. Join us on July 1st to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of "A League of Their Own" by watching the film on historic Doubleday Field. Bring your family, blankets and some snacks to enjoy during the film. The movie is free and will begin at dusk. This will be a shine only event, and will be cancelled if there is rain in the forecast.
