Museum to Honor Armed Forces Heroes with Veterans Day Programming in Cooperstown

All Museum Visitors on Nov. 11 Receive an American Flag

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – On the day when the nation pauses to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces for the military service, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum celebrates America’s veterans with a lineup of special programs.

The Museum will honor Veterans Day by distributing American flags to all visitors on Tuesday, Nov. 11. The Museum, which is open every day of the year throughout the Holiday Season except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The Hall of Fame also says “thank you” to veterans year-round by providing active duty and retired career military free admission to the Museum, along with discounted admission for those who are members of the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations.

Special programs held throughout the day on Nov. 11 and included with Museum admission are:
