Celebrate the Fall Classic in Cooperstown with the World Series Gala on Saturday at Hall of Fame

Broadcast of Game 3 of World Series Screened in Museum’s Grandstand Theater

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – The National Pastime’s marquee event will come home to Cooperstown via the airwaves as the World Series Gala returns to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum on Saturday.

The family-friendly event features refreshments, trivia, raffles, prizes and a live broadcast of Game 3 of the 109th World Series between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.

Doors to the Museum's Grandstand Theater will open at 7:30 p.m., with Game 3 scheduled to begin at 8:07 p.m. ET.

A ticket is required for this event and costs $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. A limited number of tickets are available by calling the Museum's Membership Department at 607-547-0397.

The World Series Gala is made possible by the generous support of Price Chopper supermarkets.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. The Museum observes regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. From Memorial Day Weekend through the day before Labor Day, the Museum observes summer hours of 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Ticket prices are $19.50 for adults (13 and over), $12 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $7 for juniors (ages 7-12). Members are always admitted free of charge and there is no charge for children 6 years of age or younger.
