Starting Saturday, Visitors Can Experience Museum’s History from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily
COOPERSTOWN, NY – The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is embracing the warmer weather by resuming its summer hours.
Starting Saturday, May 28, the Museum will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Museum will maintain 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. summer hours through the day before Labor Day.
Saturday will also mark the official opening of the Hall of Fame's new exhibit One for the Books: Baseball Records and the Stories Behind Them. The exhibit will open to the public at noon on Saturday.
Several events marking the opening of One for the Books are scheduled for Saturday, May 28, including artifact spotlights, an Authors' Series event celebrating baseball records and a Voices of the Game roundtable discussion featuring Hall of Famers Rickey Henderson, Joe Morgan and Cal Ripken Jr. The program will focus on their historic careers and the records they achieved and will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Cooperstown Central School's Sterling Auditorium. Doors to Cooperstown Central School open at 12:45 p.m.
A limited number of tickets for this one-hour roundtable discussion are available to the general public starting today. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. To purchase tickets, please call the Hall of Fame's Membership department at 607-547-0397.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The Museum observes regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. From Memorial Day Weekend through the day before Labor Day, the Museum is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. seven days a week. Ticket prices are $19.50 for adults (13 and over), $12 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $7 for juniors (ages 7-12). Members are always admitted free of charge and there is no charge for children 6 years of age or younger.
