Tickets Available for Hall of Fame Weekend Legends Series Event

Andre Dawson, Doug Harvey and Whitey Herzog Share Memories July 26 in Cooperstown

COOPERSTOWN, NY – It’s the weekend they’ve worked for all their lives. And with memories of their Hall of Fame inductions fresh in their minds, Andre Dawson, Doug Harvey and Whitey Herzog will be ready to reminisce with fans during the annual Induction Weekend Legends Series event in Cooperstown.

Dawson, Harvey and Herzog will relive memories of their baseball careers as well as recap the Induction Weekend during the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s Legends Series roundtable at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 26 – the day after they are formally inducted into the Hall of Fame – at the site of the Induction Ceremony, the Clark Sports Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, and participants in the Hall of Fame’s Membership Program can reserve tickets now by calling 607-547-0397. Non-Members can reserve any remaining tickets starting July 19.

The event will be recorded for broadcast at a later late on MLB Network.

The annual Legends Series event is just part of an action-packed Hall of Fame Weekend at the Baseball Hall of Fame – highlighted by the inductions of Dawson, Harvey and Herzog as the Class of 2010 at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 25. Admission to the Induction Ceremony is free.

The 2010 Induction Ceremony will be held on the grounds of the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, unless severe weather forces the event to be canceled. Seating is unlimited. The Ceremony will be televised live on MLB Network, broadcast nationally on Sirius XM Radio Home Plate Channel 175 and will be available via a Webcast at

Members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum receive free admission to the Museum, as well as access to exclusive programs, such as the Voices of the Game Series. The Museum maintains the following Hall of Fame Weekend hours: Friday, July 23: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturday, July 24: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday, July 25: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.; Monday, July 26: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Advance tickets are not necessary but are available by contacting the Hall of Fame at 888-425-5633. For Hall of Fame Members, doors open at 7 a.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As always, Hall of Fame Members receive free admission. A special Members’ only entrance eliminates the need to wait in line. Interested parties may enroll in the membership program in advance or at the Museum.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open seven days a week year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Museum is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. The Museum observes regular hours of 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. from the day after Labor Day until Memorial Day Weekend. Ticket prices are $16.50 for adults (13 and over), $11 for seniors (65 and over) and for those holding current memberships in the VFW, Disabled American Veterans, American Legion and AMVets organizations, and $6 for juniors (ages 7-12).
