Safe at Home

The Museum remains committed through its Safe at Home initiative to delivering educational and entertaining content throughout the world.

This engaging virtual content allows fans of all ages to learn the game’s history, explore its connection to global culture and experience the magic of the Museum from afar.

The Safe at Home web resources and virtual events have been made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: Exploring the human endeavor.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has a vast array of digital collections and exhibits that you can visit even when the Museum is closed. Highlights include Oral Histories, Museum Objects, Negro Leagues, Scouting Reports, Women in Baseball and Hall of Famer collections.

Virtual Programming

The Museum’s Education Department is offering free Virtual Field Trips, Curator Spotlights and Voices of the Game programs through live online events. Register to participate in these free virtual programs by visiting the Museum’s Events webpage. Archived versions of these programs can be viewed on the Hall of Fame's YouTube page.

Youtube Channel

Hours of free entertainment awaits on our Youtube channel. Watch highlights of some of the game’s greats, listen to in-depth interviews with Hall of Famers and re-live the magic of Hall of Fame Weekends.

Online Exhibits

Though nothing can replace the feeling of walking through the Museum’s hallowed halls, the online exhibits on our website and the Google Cultural App allow fans from near and far to virtually stroll through baseball history.

Education Curriculum

An assortment of free lesson plans that use baseball to teach math, science, social studies and the arts are available for students from grades 3-12. All our plans are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and Language Arts. Additional video guidance and information can be found on the Hall of Fame's Education Department Facebook page. Schools can continue to book Virtual Field Trips.

Kids Activity Downloads

The Hall of Fame offers free printable activity sheets for baseball fans of all ages to complete at home! Activities include coloring sheets, baseball bingo and a Hall of Famer word search. We've also published recommended reading lists for baseball books that will appeal to students of all grade levels.

Starting Nine

Take a virtual tour of nine iconic artifacts from your favorite MLB team via the Hall of Fame’s Starting Nine experience. Our curators have spent countless hours hand-picking special objects from every major league team to create a lineup of pieces you simply won’t believe we have.
