Hank Aaron and Frank Robinson Celebration
April 8th was an important date in baseball history. Today we are celebrating the anniversary of Hank Aaron's 715th Home Run as well as the date Frank Robinson became the first black manager in major league history. Museum programming will take place throughout the day and the full schedule is listed below. These events are free with museum admission.
10:30 am: Plaques of the Gallery Tour
Aimed at visitors of all ages, this program educates visitors about the history of the Hall of Fame gallery and the process by which each plaque is made and installed in this 20-minute guided tour.
11:30 am: Curator Spotlight: Hank Aaron Exhibit
Once a month the National Baseball Hall of Fame offers a special guided tour of one of our exhibits, led by a Hall of Fame Curator. This experience gives visitors the unique opportunity to learn about the creation process behind our exhibits.
1:30 pm: The Hammer and The Judge
Join us in the Bullpen Theater as we take a look at history making moments in the careers of Hank Aaron and Frank Robinson.
