Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is not only for celebration, remembrance, education and tribute, but above all a day of service.
Join us as we celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day through guided tours and museum programs, and learn about Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente, Jackie Robinson and others that emulate Dr. King's service and humanitarianism.
Museum programs include:
11:30 am: Plaques of the Gallery Tour (Buck O’Neil Award, 1st Floor)
Aimed at visitors of all ages, this program educates visitors about the history of the Hall of Fame Gallery and the process by which each plaque is made and installed in this 20 minute guided tour.
1:30 pm: Open Hour in the Learning Center (Learning Center, 1st Floor)
This interactive room allows families to explore baseball history through hands-on items from the Hall of Fame’s education collection. Learn how the equipment and style of the uniforms have changed over time.
