Did you know that almost every American President has a connection to baseball? Lincoln loved to play the game. Taft was the first President to throw out a ceremonial first pitch. FDR gave the game the “Green Light” during the Second World War. And Nixon studied the game so closely that he once considered becoming a sportswriter.
