Hall of Fame Classic

Due to the ongoing safety concerns associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Hall of Fame Classic legends game, scheduled for May 29 at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, was canceled.

The annual Night at the Museum event, the BASE Race and all other events associated with Hall of Fame Classic Weekend were also canceled for 2021.

The Hall of Fame Classic was held annually from 2009 through 2019 before pandemic restrictions resulted in the cancellation of the 2020 event.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through the day before Labor Day. A comprehensive health and safety plan for the Museum was developed and has been implemented in accordance with guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and New York State, and reviewed by a certified Industrial Hygiene Technician, to ensure cleanliness, physical distancing and reduced contact for visitors and staff. More information about visiting the Hall of Fame can be found here.
