Rockies Opening Season Pennant

The Colorado Rockies played their first game in 1993, one of two teams added to Major League Baseball that season. This pennant is from the club's first year, during which nearly 4.5 million fans turned out for Rockies games, setting a big league single-season attendance record.

Larry Walker: MVP season bat

Larry Walker used this bat in 1997 when he tore up the field offensively by leading the NL with 49 homers, a .452 on-base percentage and a .720 slugging percentage. The Rockies superstar earned numerous honors that year, including a Gold Glove, a Silver Slugger and the MVP Award.

Troy Tulowitzki: Triple Play Cap

Wearing this Rockies cap on April 29, 2007, Troy Tulowitzki completed the 14th unassisted triple play in big league history. With Atlanta Braves runners on first and second, the Colorado shortstop caught a line drive, doubled up the man at second and tagged the runner coming from first.

Eric Young Sr.: Six Stolen Base Pants

Colorado's Eric Young Sr. wore these purple pinstriped pants on June 30, 1996, as he stole six bases in a game. During the Rockies' 16-15 win over the Dodgers, Young swiped second four times, and in the bottom of the third inning, stole third and then home. The speedy second baseman finished the season leading the NL with 53 stolen bases.

One For The Books

Jamie Moyer: Oldest Winner Glove

Colorado's Jamie Moyer wore this glove on April 17, 2012, when the southpaw went seven innings in the Rockies 5-3 win over the Padres. With the victory, Moyer became the oldest pitcher to win a big league game since 52-year-old Connie Rector of the New York Black Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Stars, 3-2, in a Negro National League game on August 3, 1944.

Todd Helton: Final Home Run Bat

On Sept. 25, 2013, during his last game at Coors Field, Colorado's Todd Helton smashed the final home run of his career with this Michael Cuddyer model bat. The first baseman spent his entire 17-year big league career with the Rockies, setting franchise records of 1,401 runs, 369 homers and 1,406 RBI.

Charlie Blackmon: Star-Spangled Socks

In 2017, Charlie Blackmon led the Rockies and the big leagues in hits (213), runs (137) and triples (14). The center fielder wore these star-spangled socks on July 4, 2017, taking part in MLB's themed sock phenomenon that has continued to increase in popularity.

Trevor Story: 2018 Season Jersey

In 2018, Colorado's Trevor Story became the first shortstop in major league history to record 40 doubles, 30 homers and 25 stolen bases in a season. Story wore this Rockies jersey that season, ultimately earning his first Silver Slugger for his offensive efforts.

Tracy Ringolsby: Cowboy Hat

After getting his start as a beat writer for several baseball clubs in 1976, Tracy Ringolsby has covered the Colorado Rockies since the team's inception in 1993. He donated his trademark cowboy hat to the National Baseball Hall of Fame after being named the J.G. Taylor Spink Award winner in 2005.
