13th Edition of Hall of Fame Classic Legends Game Brings Six Hall of Famers to Cooperstown
(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – It’s a matchup that could only happen in Cooperstown, played on a legendary diamond where the heroes of the game have starred for more than 80 years.
The Hall of Fame Classic, presented by Boeing, will be held Saturday at historic Doubleday Field, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Hall of Famers Bert Blyleven and Jim Kaat will manage their respective teams in the 13th edition of the Classic, while Hall of Famers Rollie Fingers, Fergie Jenkins, Jack Morris and Lee Smith will lend a hand in the dugout and in the coach’s boxes.

Also suiting up for the game will be two soldiers from the Army’s 10th Mountain Division in nearby Fort Drum: Chief Warrant Officer 4 Anthony Rubado and Master Sergeant Wilfredo Rivera.
Tickets are on sale now at the Hall of Fame and online. Beginning at 9 a.m. on game day, tickets will be available at the Will Call tent in the Doubleday Field Parking Lot. Tickets for the Hall of Fame Classic are $15 for first base seats and $13 for outfield seats.
The Classic, fueled by assistance from MLB, also features the pre-game Home Run Derby, scheduled for noon.
The timeless American classics of baseball and film will also intersect Memorial Day Weekend in Cooperstown as the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum hosts an All-Star film festival in the Museum’s Grandstand Theater. Free showings of “It Ain’t Over,” a portrait of Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra, at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 25, and an episode of the ESPN series “Bananaland” at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, will be presented. “Glory and Grief: The Ferguson Jenkins Story” will be exclusively screened for Museum supporters at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 26.
