Virtual Voices of the Game: Larry Lester

Join us on February 16 at 1 pm for a special Virtual Voices of the Game program with author and historian Larry Lester, who will discuss his role as a guest curator on the Hall of Fame’s Black Baseball Initiative, along with his donation of many recorded interviews with significant black baseball figures.

A co-founder of the Negro Leagues Museum in Kansas City, Larry is regarded as one of the foremost authorities on the Negro Leagues and the history of black baseball. He has written numerous books on those subjects, including The Negro Leagues Book, and has won multiple awards from the Society for American Baseball Research, including the prestigious Henry Chadwick Award.

During the program, we will take questions for Larry in our Chat Room.

Please note the time of the program, which will start at 1 pm Eastern.

As always, the Virtual Voices of the Game is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information to join the virtual program.

Once capacity is reached via Zoom connection, participants may join us live on the Hall of Fame's Facebook.
