Preserving History Together

Baseball has a way of bringing people together.

Perhaps it is a pick-up game in the streets of New York or on a sandlot in Salt Lake City; hanging out around the cases of baseball cards at the corner card shop; enjoying a game of catch in the backyard; or in the ballpark during a pennant chase. The game and moments like these connect us.

Museum visitor Tim Kravitz summed it up best: “Cooperstown is baseball, the centerpiece of people coming together in their joyous, endless love of a game and the roll it has played in our lives, and in our families.”

And as the spiritual home of our National Pastime, Cooperstown is the ultimate destination to bring generations of fans together. It is on every fans must-see list. When they do make the trip, fans come to relive baseball greatest moments but invariably end up creating and reliving their own special memories with friends and family.

These special memories, remind us all how important our mission to Preserve History, Honor Excellence and Connect Generations truly is.
