Author Series: Before They Wore Dodger Blue: Tommy Lasorda and the Greatest Draft Class in Baseball History
Author Eric Vickrey details the Los Angeles Dodgers' historic 
1968 draft, when the front office and scouting department drafted and signed six future All-Stars -- Doyle Alexander, Bill Buckner, Ron Cey, Steve Garvey, Davey Lopes, and Tom Paciorek -- laying the foundation for two pennant-winning teams in the late 1970s and a world championship in 1981.
