Community Day: A Day of Programs and The Grand Opening of the Hall of Fame's New Museum Store
Celebrate the opening of our new Museum Store with a day of ceremonies and programs.
9:30 am: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the Hall of Fame's new Museum Store
10:30 am: Plaques of the Gallery Tour: Learn about the history of our Hall of Fame Plaque Gallery, which first opened in 1958.
11:30 am: Special Presentation: Remembering June 12, 1939: Take a trip back to 1939, when the Hall of Fame and Museum officially opened its doors for the first time. This program looks back at the first Induction Ceremony, along with the "Cavalcade of Baseball" celebrating the game's centennial, and a special exhibition game at Doubleday Field.
1:00 pm: Explore the Baseball Discovery Zone: This interactive room provides families with a setting to try on baseball jerseys and sample artifacts from the Hall of Fame's education collection.
1:30 pm: The Hall of Fame Trivia Game: Fans can test their knowledge of baseball and its history in this interactive trivia game.
2:00 pm: Explore the Baseball Discovery Zone: Another opportunity for fans to check out artifacts from the Hall of Fame's education collection.
2:45 pm: Plaques of the Gallery Tour: Learn about the history of our Plaque Gallery, which features 351 bronze plaques.
