Hall of Fame 86th Birthday Celebration

The Museum will celebrate its 86th birthday on June 12, reflecting on the historic events of that day in 1939 as the Hall of Fame was formally commemorated. Special programs will fill the day.

10:30 a.m. - Plaques of the Gallery Tour (Buck O'Neil Statue)

11:30 a.m. - 86th Birthday Card Signing (Baseball Discovery Zone)

Wish a Happy Birthday to the National Baseball Hall of Fame by signing a Hall of Fame Birthday Card, located in the Baseball Discovery Zone on the first floor.

2:30 p.m. - Hall for Heroes (Bullpen Theater)

Turn back the clock to the grand opening and first induction ceremony on June 12, 1939. Learn more about the men, myths, and legends that put the best-known sports shrine in the world on the map in Cooperstown.
