Hispanic Heritage Month Pop-Up
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our interactive Hispanic Heritage Pop-Up experience will explore images and hands-on items from the Hall of Fame’s education and museum collections that tell the story of Latino baseball players including the following museum artifacts:
- Ball signed by Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Fernando Valenzuela after his 6-0 no hitter against the St. Louis Cardinals on June 29, 1990, at Dodgers Stadium.
- Bat used by Albert Pujols of the St. Louis Cardinals on August 24-29, 2004 when he hit his 39th and 40th home runs of the season, becoming the first player with 30 or more home runs in his first four major league seasons.
- Braves City Connect batting helmet worn by Ronald Acuña Jr. on Saturday home games during the 2023 season, including Sept. 30 when he stole his 73rd and final base of the season, leading all of MLB.
This program will take place in the Baseball Discovery Zone.
