Virtual Author Series: Bruce Markusen

In this Virtual Author Series program, we will turn the tables on Bruce Markusen, our Manager of Outreach Learning, who will be interviewed about his book, Roberto Clemente: The Great One, by Leah Buhagiar, our Manager of Educational Programming.

A lifelong fan and follower of Clemente, Bruce has worked in the Hall of Fame’s Education Department since 2013. He has written seven books about baseball, including the Clemente biography and books about Orlando Cepeda and Ted Williams. His first book, A Baseball Dynasty: Charlie Finley’s Swingin’ A’s, earned the Seymour Medal as the best baseball book of 1998.
