In a special evening edition of our Virtual Author Series, acclaimed writer and historian Lee Lowenfish joins us on Thursday, October 12, to talk about his newest book, Baseball’s Endangered Species: Inside the Craft of Scouting by Those Who Lived It.

Baseball’s Endangered Species provides an in-depth look at the history of scouting and how the use of metrics and analytics have affected the job security of baseball scouts.
Lee Lowenfish has written several books on baseball, including a biography of Branch Rickey and a history of baseball’s labor wars.
