VIRTUAL- Baseball’s American Voices: Curt Smith

Join us on January 27 at 1 pm Eastern Time for Baseball’s American Voices, the first in our yearlong series of virtual programs celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary. Our first guest is former presidential speechwriter and acclaimed author Curt Smith, who will discuss the many connections between baseball and the White House.

Did you know that almost every American President has a tangible association with our National Pastime? Curt will discuss some of the more prominent presidential connections, including those involving Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and other leaders of America.

Curt Smith is the author of 17 books and served as a speechwriter for George H.W. Bush from 1989 to 1992.

This Virtual Author Series program is free, but registration is required. Click here to register.

Once capacity is reached via Zoom connection, participants may join us live on the Hall of Fame's Facebook.
