Virtual Field Trip: Early Black Baseball
Join us for a special program on the early history of Black baseball. The program will explore the efforts of early Black pioneers like Octavius Catto and the Philadelphia Pythians, Bud Fowler, Moses Fleetwood Walker, and the Cuban Giants. The presentation will also examine the impact of the Great Migration on the formation of the Negro Leagues in 1920.
