VIRTUAL- Virtual Author Series - Globetrotter: How Abe Saperstein Shook Up the World of Sports

Book cover for Globetrotter This program with authors Mark and Matthew Jacob explores the connection of Abe Saperstein, famed owner of the Harlem Globetrotters, to Negro Leagues baseball, including his relationship with Negro Leagues legend Satchel Paige. Saperstein was involved with several black teams, including the Cannibal Giants and the Ethiopian Clowns.
