Virtual Voices of the Game: Carl Rogan
On February 11 at 1 pm Eastern Time, we will feature a Virtual Voices of the Game program with Charles Rogan, the grandson of Hall of Fame Wilber “Bullet Joe” Rogan, a two-way star with the Kansas City Monarchs. The elder Rogan pitched, played the outfield and served as a manager during a career that lasted from 1920 to 1938.
Carl will discuss the legacy of his grandfather and his impact as an all-around great in Negro Leagues history.
Carl Rogan himself was a three-sport star at Minneapolis Central High School. He has devoted much of his life to playing and coaching sports.
Participants in this virtual program will have the chance to post questions in the Chat Room.
This Virtual Voices of the Game program is free, but registration is required.
