Voices of the Game: Kelsie Whitmore

On Wednesday, September 20, the Hall of Fame will host a Voices of the Game program with Kelsie Whitmore, an outfielder and pitcher with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League. Whitmore is the first woman to play in a professional league that is affiliated with Major League Baseball.

The program will take place in the Hall of Fame’s Bullpen Theater, beginning at 1 pm.

Kelsie will discuss her professional career, including an earlier stint with the Sonoma Stompers, an independent minor league team, and her experience playing in the Women’s World Cup in 2014.

The program in the Bullpen Theater is free, but seating is limited.

The program will also be streamed live on the Hall of Fame's Facebook.
