Roll Call of Past Inductions

Hall of Fame Weekend, held in the summer months in Cooperstown, boasts the largest collection of Hall of Famers anywhere in the world. The annual tradition began with the dedication of the National Baseball Museum - as the Hall was formerly known - on June 12, 1939, which united inductees from the first four classes dating back to 1936. As the years have passed and Hall of Fame membership has grown, the number of Hall of Famers returning each year has grown significantly, with an average total hovering around 50 in the new millennium.

Below is a year-by-year listing of Hall of Famers who were present for the Induction Weekend in Cooperstown, accompanied by videos and images from the festivities.

Bold indicates Hall of Fame electees from that current year.
