(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – A Cooperstown tradition is set to return for another memorable Memorial Day Weekend at Doubleday Field.

Tickets for the 2019 Hall of Fame Classic, scheduled for Saturday, May 25, are on sale now for participants in the Museum’s Membership Program and go on sale Monday, March 11, to the general public online and via phone. Hall of Fame members Rollie Fingers and Alan Trammell will be joined by additional Hall of Famers and recently retired players representing all 30 major league teams for a seven-inning legends game at Cooperstown’s historic Doubleday Field.

The 2019 Hall of Fame Classic, presented by Ford Motor Company, highlights a weekend of family entertainment programs designed to celebrate the timeless connection of baseball across generations.

Tickets will be available via phone at (607) 207-9519 or at baseballhall.org. Tickets for the Hall of Fame Classic are $15 for grandstand seats, $12.50 for first baseline seats and $11 for outfield seats.

Seating along the third baseline will not be available, as the Village of Cooperstown is coordinating ongoing renovations of Doubleday Field in preparation for the ballpark’s 100th anniversary in 2020.

The Classic, now in its 11th year and fueled by assistance from MLB, features a pre-game Home Run Contest at noon, followed by the first pitch at 1:05 p.m.

The full rosters of participating Hall of Famers and Classic players will also be announced later this spring.

Hall of Fame Classic Weekend features additional family events designed to promote interactivity between fans and their baseball heroes. Following the game on Saturday will be the Doubleday Kids Dash, a chance for children to round third and head for home on the base paths of historic Doubleday Field. Children with tickets to the Classic can participate in this free event.

Later that evening, the Hall of Fame will reprise its Night at the Museum program, now in its seventh season. Hall of Fame legends and former players will greet fans throughout the Museum on Saturday evening beginning at 6 p.m. Legends participants will canvass the Museum during the course of a two-hour event that will bring the Museum to life with special programs and interactions. While the Night at the Museum program is not an autograph session, fans should remember to bring their camera to capture their special memories. Tickets for Night at the Museum are on sale now for Museum Members and go on sale March 11 to the general public. Tickets are priced at $50 for participants in the Museum’s Membership Program and $100 for non-Members. For information on Museum Membership, please visit baseballhall.org/join.

The Museum will also offer the Cooperstown Classic Clinic, a baseball training event for youngsters ages 7-12 on Friday, May 24 from 4-7 p.m. The Clinic gives youth participants a chance to receive hands-on tips and advice from several former major leaguers at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown. The event is free but registration is required for this special opportunity.

All tickets purchased online or via phone will be shipped starting Friday, April 26. Tickets purchased online or via phone prior to May 17 will be sent via U.S. Mail.

Tickets purchased May 18 through May 23 must be picked up at the Doubleday Field Will Call tent beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 25. Online ticketing ends at 5 p.m. ET on May 23.
