MLB Caps to Feature Hall of Fame Logo July 19-21

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – As the baseball world focuses on upstate New York for Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, MLB players throughout the country will be wearing Cooperstown colors.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame has partnered with Major League Baseball to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Museum by placing the iconic red, white and blue Hall of Fame logo on all player caps during games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The logo will be featured on the right-hand side of each cap.

“We are thrilled that the Hall of Fame logo will be worn by the best players in the game this weekend and be seen by millions of fans around the world,” said Josh Rawitch, President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. “As the Class of 2024 is honored in Cooperstown and the Museum celebrates its 85th birthday, it is fitting that the legends of tomorrow will be a part of history today with this first-of-its-kind cap.”

Made by the Official On-Field Cap of MLB, New Era, the team caps with the Hall of Fame logo are now available at the Hall of Fame online store.

Adrian Beltré, Todd Helton, Jim Leyland and Joe Mauer will be celebrated July 19-22 as the Hall of Fame Class of 2024. More than 50 Hall of Famers are scheduled to be in Cooperstown to honor the newest members of the game’s most exclusive fraternity.

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Sunday, July 21, at 1:30 p.m. ET on the grounds of the Clark Sports Center – located one mile south of the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

On Saturday, July 20, the Hall of Fame logo will be featured on the bow tie of FOX’s Ken Rosenthal at the Red Sox vs. Dodgers game at 7:15 p.m. ET at Dodger Stadium. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit mission of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
