MLB Caps to Feature Hall of Fame Logo July 25-27
(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – As the baseball world focuses on Upstate New York for Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, MLB players throughout the country will once again be wearing Cooperstown colors.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame has partnered with Major League Baseball for the second straight summer to place the iconic red, white and blue Hall of Fame logo on all player caps during games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The logo will be on the right side of each cap, and all caps worn over the weekend feature a custom throwback design created by New Era in conjunction with MLB.
“As the legends of the game gather at the Hall of Fame, millions of fans around the world will watch as today’s stars honor the Class of 2025,” said Josh Rawitch, President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. “We are thrilled that the eyes of the baseball world will once again be on Cooperstown.”
Made by the Official On-Field Cap of MLB, New Era, the team caps with the Hall of Fame logo are now available at the Hall of Fame online store as well as MLBShop.com and the MLB Flagship Store in New York City.
Additionally, on Saturday, July 26, the Hall of Fame logo will be featured on the bow tie of FOX’s Ken Rosenthal at the Red Sox vs. Dodgers game at 7:15 p.m. ET at Fenway Park. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit mission of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Hall of Famer John Smoltz, who was inducted ten years ago, will be a part of the nationally-televised game’s broadcast team.
Dick Allen, Dave Parker, CC Sabathia, Ichiro Suzuki and Billy Wagner will be celebrated July 25-28 as the Hall of Fame Class of 2025. More than 50 Hall of Famers are scheduled to be in Cooperstown to honor the newest members of the game’s most exclusive fraternity.
The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Sunday, July 27, at 1:30 p.m. ET on the grounds of the Clark Sports Center – located one mile south of the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
