Museum Earns Six ISHY Awards at International Sports Heritage Association Conference

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum was presented with six awards at the International Sports Heritage Association’s Annual Conference Sept. 22-24 in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Established in 1971 as the Association of Sports Museums and Halls of Fame, ISHA includes more than 130 member institutions to provide a network for the exchange of opportunities and cooperative ventures.

ISHY Awards earned by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum included:

• An award for the Museum’s book “Play Harder: The Triumph of Black Baseball in America”
• An award for the Museum’s new Yakyu | Baseball: The Transpacific Exchange of the Game exhibit
• An award for the Museum’s Memories and Dreams magazine fall 2025 issue, which highlighted the Museum’s Yakyu | Baseball exhibit
• An award for the social media campaign surrounding the Yakyu | Baseball exhibit
• An award for the Museum’s video review highlight reel of 2025 events
• An award for the digital/video content of Hideo Nomo, Shohei Ohtani and Ichiro Suzuki digital interactives in the Yakyu | Baseball exhibit
