Treasures from 2025 World Series Headed Home to Cooperstown

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – The Los Angeles Dodgers have added to their remarkable franchise history with their ninth World Series championship.

Artifacts telling the story of their run to the title are on their way to the home of baseball in Cooperstown.

Following the Dodgers’ 5-4 victory on Saturday night, the team and players generously donated several artifacts that tell the story of their championship season, and those pieces will soon take a permanent place in Cooperstown.

Artifacts donated by the Dodgers players and team following Game 7 in Toronto include:

• Bat used by Miguel Rojas to hit his ninth-inning, game-tying home run in Game 7
• Spikes worn by Will Smith when he hit his go-ahead home run in Game 7
• Glove used by Mookie Betts throughout the World Series, including in his series-ending double play
• Bat used by Freddie Freeman to hit his walk-off home run in the 18th inning of Game 3
• Glove worn by Will Klein, who pitched four shutout innings to earn the win in the 18-inning Game 3
• Jersey worn by manager Dave Roberts in Game 7

Additional artifacts from the 2025 Postseason donated to the Hall of Fame include:

• The spikes worn by the Blue Jays’ Addison Barger in Game 1 when he produced the first pinch-hit grand slam in World Series history
• A ball thrown by the Blue Jays’ Max Scherzer in Game 3 when he became the first player to pitch for four different teams in the World Series
• Ball/strike indicator used by Alan Porter, the home plate umpire in both Game 5 of the World Series and the Oct. 10 American League Division Series finale between the Mariners and Tigers, which lasted 15 innings

The Hall of Fame will host an Artifact Spotlight at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, showcasing several of these treasures fresh off the field. The program is free with Museum admission.

These and other pieces from the 2025 Postseason will be featured in the Autumn Glory exhibit, which will be on display through the 2026 Postseason. Timing on the opening of the 2025 Postseason version of Autumn Glory will be announced in the coming weeks.
