Treasures from 2026 World Series Headed Home to Cooperstown

(COOPERSTOWN, NY) – For the first time, the Milwaukee Brewers are World Series champions.

When history was made Wednesday night, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum was there to ensure the remarkable story of the 2026 Brew Crew will always be told in Cooperstown.

Following the Brewers’ 4-1 series-clinching victory in Game 5, the team and players generously donated several artifacts that tell the story of their championship season, and those pieces will soon have a home at the Museum.

Artifacts donated by the Brewers following Game 5 in St. Petersburg, Fla., include:

  • Chest protector and shin guards worn by World Series Most Valuable Player William Contreras
  • Hoodie worn by manager Pat Murphy during the World Series
  • Bat used by Cooper Pratt in Game 4 and Game 5 when he recorded six straight hits
  • Road jersey worn by captain Christian Yelich during Game 4
  • Glasses worn by Aaron Ashby, who set a postseason record for relievers with 18 straight scoreless innings
  • Batting gloves worn by Sal Frelick in Game 2 and Game 5
  • Cap worn by Jacob Misiorowski, who recorded the win in Game 5 with 5.2 shutout innings
  • Shoes worn by Brice Turang in Game 5
  • Ball hit by David Hamilton for an RBI single during the eight-run fifth inning in Game 3, one of seven-straight two-out hits

These and other pieces from the 2026 Postseason will be featured in the Autumn Glory exhibit, which will be on display through the 2027 Postseason. Timing on the opening of the 2026 Postseason version of Autumn Glory will be announced in the coming weeks.
