Rod Carew: 3,000th Hit Batting Gloves

Angels first baseman Rod Carew, whose keen eye and great speed yielded seven batting titles and 18 All-Star nods, wore these batting gloves on August 4, 1985, when he smacked his 3,000th career hit. The opposite field single came against the Minnesota Twins, with whom Carew had played the first 12 years of his career.

Tommy John: 250th Win Cap

Hurling eight innings against the Oakland Athletics on May 1, 1984, Angels pitcher Tommy John wore this cap as he collected his 250th big league win. In John's 26-year career, he collected 288 wins, with more than half following the surgery in 1974 that was later named after him.

Mike Trout: Rookie Season Cap

Despite starting 2012 in the minors, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout ended the season atop the majors with 129 runs and 49 stolen bases. Wearing this cap that year, he electrified fans with his stellar defense and earned unanimous AL Rookie of the Year accolades for his amazing season.

Shohei Ohtani: Rookie Cap and Helmet

Making his much-anticipated debut in 2018, L.A.’s Shohei Ohtani quickly became a two-way sensation. In his April 1 pitching start, Ohtani wore this cap as he hurled six innings and struck out six in the Angels’ 7-4 victory over Oakland. He donned this helmet two days later when he crushed his first homer.

Reggie Jackson: 500th Home Run Helmet

Angels DH Reggie Jackson wore this helmet on September 17, 1984, when he smashed his 500th career home run, a solo shot to Anaheim’s right field. The round-tripper came exactly 17 years after his first homer, a solo dinger to the same spot when Kansas City visited the Big A in 1967.

Francisco Rodríguez: Record Saves Jersey

Angels closer Francisco Rodríguez wore this jersey on September 13, 2008, during his season for the ages. On that day, K-Rod broke the 18-year-old record of 57 saves in a season and went on to set a still-standing mark of 62.

Nolan Ryan: No-Hitter Cap

Angels ace Nolan Ryan wore this cap for the second of his two 1973 no-hitters, a dominating, 17-strikeout defeat of Detroit, 6-0, on July 15. When Tigers slugger Norm Cash came to the plate in the ninth inning with a table leg in hand, he explained to the umpire, “I can’t hit him with a regular bat.”

2002 World Series Championship Ring

This 2002 Anaheim Angels World Series ring represents the club’s first Championship since its inaugural season in 1961. Coming off a 99-win regular season and eliminating the Yankees and Twins in the postseason, the “Halos” defeated the San Francisco Giants in a nail-biting, seven-game Series.

Albert Pujols: 600th Double Cleats

Wearing these cleats on September 16, 2016, Angels DH Albert Pujols reached rarified air as he posted his 600th career double. Only Hank Aaron and Barry Bonds had also reached 600 doubles and 575 home runs. A year later he joined the historic duo in the exclusive 600-600 club.
