Hall of Fame Inductees Exhibit for Class of 2018 Now on Display in Cooperstown

They forged history and changed the game throughout their careers. Now, as they await their induction to the Hall of Fame as the Class of 2018, their history is on display in Cooperstown.

The 2018 Inductees Exhibit is open at the Hall of Fame and will remain on display through May 2019. The exhibit, located on the first floor of the Museum as visitors approach the Plaque Gallery, features a distinct display for Vladimir Guerrero, Trevor Hoffman, Chipper Jones, Jack Morris, Jim Thome and Alan Trammell.

Some of the artifact highlights contained in the Class of 2018 exhibit include:
• Vladimir Guerrero’s Home Run Derby Champion trophy from the 2007 All-Star Game;
• A signed Milwaukee Brewers cap worn by Trevor Hoffman for his 600th save against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sept. 7, 2010;
• Chipper Jones’ 1999 National League Most Valuable Player Award;
• The Minnesota Twins jersey worn by Jack Morris during Game 7 of the 1991 World Series;
• Jim Thome’s helmet from Aug. 15, 2011 when he hit his 600th career home run;
• The bat used by Alan Trammell to hit a home run in Game 4 of the 1984 World Series;

The exhibit is accompanied by a highlight video for each member of the Class of 2018.

Admission to the Museum’s Inductees Exhibit is included with regular Museum admission.

The 2018 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. ET on July 29 at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown and will be shown live on MLB Network. More than 50 Hall of Famers are expected to attend, with the full list of returnees to be announced in early July, to honor the Class of 2018. Admission to the Induction Ceremony is free.
