Baseball Card Preservation
Professional conservation treatment is needed for baseball cards in the collection that were originally housed in scrapbooks.
The Museum accepts hundreds of artifacts every year, all of which are donated. But in addition to the ongoing cost of housing and preserving the artifacts, there are expenses involved with conserving pieces that may have fallen victim to time and age.
The Museum promises to keep every artifact accepted into the Collection in perpetuity, and the proper conservation of artifacts in need of attention is crucial to their long-term preservation.
The estimated conservation cost is $250 per card.
