Day 1: Arrive in Philadelphia & Explore History
Welcome to Philadelphia, where America’s pastime meets American history.
Fly into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), which is only about 20 minutes from the heart of the city. If you have time, stop by Terminal A-West to see a Liberty Bell replica made entirely of LEGOs!
Check-In & Settle In
The bustling Center City, the historically charming Old City or the trendy Fishtown are great options for easy access to Citizens Bank Park and Philadelphia’s must-see attractions. Whichever vibe fits you best, get checked in and ready to explore Philly!
Historic Attractions
Visit the Liberty Bell Center for an immersive historical experience, where you can get up close to the iconic Liberty Bell. Continue your journey into the past with a visit to Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed.
Continue exploring Philly’s history and culture with visits to museums and landmarks such as the Franklin Institute science museum, or Eastern State Penitentiary, a historic prison recognized for its architecture and once home to infamous inmates like Al Capone.
Evening Leisure
Enjoy a stroll or bike ride along the scenic Schuylkill River Trail. And when you’re ready to grab a bite, no visit to Philly would be complete without a cheesesteak! You won’t be hard-pressed to find eateries serving this signature sandwich, but Pat’s King of Steaks and Geno’s Steaks are two iconic spots that made their mark on this beloved dish.
Day 2: Citizens Bank Park & Phillies Game
Today is dedicated to baseball in the City of Brotherly Love!
Morning Activity
The perfect way to get hyped up for today’s baseball game is by channeling the energy of a champ: Rocky Balboa! Make your way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to snap a picture with the Rocky statue before taking an exhilarating climb of the “Rocky Steps.” (It might not be a bad idea to warm up a bit first!) Then, cool down and purchase a ticket for admission to experience the museum’s artwork.
Pre-Game Excitement
Make your way to Citizens Bank Park and get ready for the game. Before taking your seat, explore Ashburn Alley, which boasts food stands, a play area for children, the Phillies Wall of Fame and more.
Game Time at Citizens Bank Park
It’s game time! Enjoy the game and classic vendor bites like crab fries from Chickie and Pete’s or boardwalk-style pizza from Manco & Manco. Keep an eye out for The Phillie Phanatic during the game – you never know what entertaining antics he’ll be up to!
Post-Game Options
After the last inning, continue basking in the energy of the crowds at a Philly sports bar to watch sports and grab food and drinks. If you’d like to spend a little more time out in the fresh air, enjoy the sights, sounds and buzz of activity with a walk along the Delaware River Waterfront.
Day 3: Say Goodbye to Philly and Head to Cooperstown
Before leaving the Cradle of Liberty, spend your morning enjoying more of what Philly has to offer.
Morning in Philadelphia
During your last morning in the city known as the birthplace of America, visit the National Constitution Center, which features exhibitions and artifacts that help tell the story of America’s founding, life-size bronze statues of the Founding Fathers, and more.
Road Trip to Cooperstown
Begin the next leg of your adventure with a scenic 4.5 hour drive by rental car or hop aboard an Amtrak train to Albany (4.5 hours), followed by a 1.5-hour car ride. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave the bustling city behind and approach the classic American small town of Cooperstown.
Evening in Cooperstown
Arrive in Cooperstown with time to explore the village’s charming Main Street filled with baseball-themed shops and memorabilia. Relax by Otsego Lake and get ready for an unforgettable day ahead at the Hall of Fame.
Day 4: The Baseball Hall of Fame & Cooperstown

National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for! Walk through the doors of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and take a step into the game’s revered past. Start your visit in the Grandstand Theater to see the short film Generations of the Game, shown exclusively at the Museum. Don’t miss The Souls of the Game, which opened in 2024, and the new Yakyu | Baseball exhibit opening in July. The new exhibit showcases the enduring connection between Japanese and American baseball and celebrates the iconic Japanese super stars including Hideo Nomo, Ichiro Suzuki and Shohei Ohtani. Be sure to allow plenty of time to see the iconic Hall of Fame Plaque Gallery, where the members of the Baseball Hall of Fame are honored, then complete your visit with a stop in the Museum Store.
