On-Site Field Trips
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum has received a legacy grant to support educational outreach to Central New York students. This grant will service under-resourced youth in our backyard, who otherwise may be unable to visit Cooperstown and access the Museum’s education programs.
If your school is interested in applying for a grant to help offset costs for a field trip to the Museum, please review the guidelines and complete the online application. Grants will be awarded on a case-by-case basis.
Diamond Discovery Days
Spend the day in Cooperstown! Educational experiences at The Farmers' Museum, The Fenimore Art Museum, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will make for a full day of hands-on learning and activities. Each museum will feature staffed activity stations, allowing students and chaperones to explore at their own pace.
Home School Discovery Day
Offered in cooperation with the Fenimore Art Museum and the Farmers' Museum, Homeschool Discovery Day is a great chance for students to participate in fun programs, explore Cooperstown's museums, and meet other homeschoolers.
Advance registration is required at each museum. At the Hall of Fame, students are $6 each, 1 adult per each family is admitted free. Additional adults will be at regular admission rate. Please call 607-547-0313 for more details.
Teachers and administrators are invited to join us in Cooperstown or via video conference for workshops that bring baseball into your classroom. To reserve a professional development workshop for the teachers at your school, contact the Baseball Hall of Fame at [email protected]
